About
SOLIDARIDAD INTERNSHIP
Working with young activists to improve farmworkers' lives
September 15, 2023 - April 5, 2024 | 4-6 hours per week, 23 weeks
Spend the academic year as an intern with Student Action with Farmworkers learning about farmworker justice and gaining organizing and advocacy skills. Through weekly Friday workshops, 5 Solidaridad interns will gain a deep understanding of farmworker issues and increase SAF’s capacity to fulfill its mission. Interns will meet worker rights advocates, participate in field trips, plan SAF events, create communication tools, and organize actions and rallies.
Most workshops will be 4 hours long, but occasionally workshops will be replaced by longer (6 hour) events on Saturdays. Accepted interns will receive the workshop schedule at the beginning of the internship. Every workshop includes free lunch for interns.
Online applications will be accepted through August 31.
